My name is Michelle Johnson and I am a graphic designer with over 25 years of experience. After many years of working as a typesetter, desktop publisher and production artist, I earned my degree in graphic design at Northeastern University College of Professional Studies. Most recently I've been working on projects in the healthcare industry, but I've also worked on projects in a number of industries that include education, real estate, travel, non-profit and finance.

I love graphic design because I can be creative and technical at the same time. When designing for print, I always keep my client's budget and timeline in mind before presenting options that may be too expensive when they go to press (can you say converted envelope)! Although I'm not a web developer, my knowledge of HTML, CSS and a pinch of Javascript has served me well.

I take pride in my work and am motivated by quality. Whether working for an entrepreneur, artisan, university, small business, hospital or large corporation, I find it rewarding to create materials that are well designed, purposeful, and precisely executed.

I live in Massachusetts on the North Shore with my husband, two daughters and our pets. When I'm not working, I like to do things outside. When I have more time I'd love to learn how to play the guitar and paint (outside of course).
